The design of the reception is inspired by terminal areas of international airports. Large gestures, clear lines, and a sense of movement and anticipation define the atmosphere. Just like at an airport, there is a subtle tension in the room: a journey starts here, a stay begins here.
All interior components were specially designed for this project and custom-made. Materials, shapes, and details have been carefully coordinated to bring the aviation theme to life in a contemporary and sophisticated way. A real eye-catcher in the interior are the custom-made ceiling lamps and ornaments. These sculptural elements refer to aircraft engines and jet engines, hovering through the space as powerful objects. They give the reception character, scale, and an almost futuristic appearance.
The result is a distinct interior that functions not only as a reception but as an experience in itself. A place that surprises, lingers, and immediately makes it clear that this resort is different from the rest.
This project was realized in an inspiring collaboration with Achterbosch Wei Architects from China, where design, experience, and craftsmanship come together in a unique welcome for the Aviator Experience Resort.
